My site is a blog type site with a few of my creative writing pieces, so I'm sure this is all I need as I **want** to use Greymatter.

(BTW: I currently have a website right now, located at URL please visit it to see if it works, the site looks okay, etc. Because freewebs.com is not letting me access my Site Manager, this is one of the reasons I'm trying to change servers / hosters.)
As a mild beginner at HTML website hosting, lover of webdesigning, and an open mind to challenges... I have sunk to the lowest point in my search for the perfect free-hoster that will host my website.
Meaning I know enough knowledge to be able to manage my own site, but I'm not smart enough to know where to find a good hoster!!! I feel like every site I go to, that site is definitely going to be
the one
and my quest for a hoster will be over and I can finally get onto uploading my website pages that I made on my harddrive.
But each time, all the free website hosters let me down countlessly and their high standards, cheap promises, and sweet deals all prove to be false and untrue!
As a last resort, I've given up on searching the web alone and decided to push my pride aside and ask for help! So fellow web designers, internet freaks (no offense meant, of course!), and who ever else could help me -- lend me your two cents and help this poor, disillusioned, disheartened webdesigner, just looking for her big break!
(Wowie... that was pretty dramatic, eh?)
Here is what I'm looking for:
+Web space: A minimum of 30 MB
+Bandwidth: A decent, good amount
+mySQL: Do I need this if I use Greymatter?
+PHP: I want to use Greymatter...
+CGI: I need this for Greymatter, I'm sure!
+FTP: Would be lovely to have
+Ads: I want a minimal of them on my site, meaning only one or two, pop up banners preferred
