Hehe. Well, you've got several options.
Here's the one from sun: http://java.sun.com/webservices/dow...rvicespack.html
It's got Apache Tomcat as the server. This is probably your best bet, but I was unable to get the installer to run on an old win95 box with practically no ram. Go figure, huh?
You can get Tomcat its self here: http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/index.html
I've done this on several different boxes, so I can vouch that it works and all.
I found Tomcat hard to setup at first, so I found Orion Application Server which was a good place to start. I can't get to the website right now for some reason, though: www.orionserver.com/
JBoss is supposed to be really good. I haven't used it, though. http://www.jboss.org/
JRun is another option. The developer version is free, but you can only use it as a development environment. http://www.macromedia.com/software/jrun/ |
