abstract:

i cant even unistall it when i try to it tries to install itself instead of unistalling and then it says it cannot find data2.cab'
what siw rong and how to fix this problem?


Hello i was twsting dr wev v4.44 and sudde3nly today it stopped working properly,
spider mail wont run and the scanner says it cannot load main virus vase i hit ok and it closes.
i cant even unistall it when i try to it tries to install itself instead of unistalling and then it says it cannot find data2.cab'
what siw rong and how to fix this problem?

How are you trying to uninstall it ? Through an icon in the start menu or by going through Add/Remove programs ?
loool, sorry for the typos!!
well, i tried it through an icon from the start menu and instead of an installation it tried to install itself again and it also tells me it is an outdates version!! although i'm using v4.44
Also like this wasn't enough in Add/Remove programs i find no entry for dr.web anywhere.....
Weird stuff is going on....
ps. Cool Avatar dude! my favourite comic show for ages!

ill try to reintall and then see if it sgets unistalled or ill follow directions.
i decided to try dr.web cause i heard its a strong and light AV, isnt it the case?
Whats your personal opinion on dr.web?

It cannot be removed nto from icon and not from add/remove
and also cannot be RE-installed.....
